As a media executive, I usually don't waste my time with such arrogance but for the record:
This writer needs to be dismissed. This article is blatantly racist and and not fair to the many talented actors of diverse ethnic backgrounds who work their asses off, only to be met with lack of opportunity due to the color/ tone of their skin. “Too much of a good thing” is really a title line? Are you kidding me with your argument? A handful of shows starring blacks, ONE starring an Asian family and you’re saying it’s too much of a good thing? Writer #NellieAndreeva has done a great job of proving herself a candidate for the new face of ignorance. It's crucial that the media, and those who represent it keep their sentiments/ works aligned with fact. One such fact is that a whopping 95% of lead roles on American television go to white actors. We are making positive strides forward, however there is a lot of work to be done- not just for blacks, but for all ethnic groups across the spectrum. So glad #ShondaRhimes and many others are speaking out against this article.
